Linktree Pro is worth it if you need three things together: the Linktree logo gone, your own background and design, and a year of analytics. It costs $12 a month billed yearly or $15 monthly in the US, as of October 2026. It is not worth it for a custom domain (no Linktree plan has one) or for lower selling fees, since Pro's fee table still says 9%.

Most people asking this are on Free, have hit one limit, and want to know if fixing it costs $144 a year. Often it does not. Below is exactly what Pro adds, what it still does not do, and the cheapest way to get each piece. Figures come from Linktree's pricing page and help center, read on 17 October 2026. I make Posy, which appears in one table row and one section, so weigh those with that in mind.

#What Pro adds

Linktree's Pro plan card lists four things on top of Starter:

  • Remove Linktree branding. The logo at the foot of your page goes.
  • Custom designs. This is where your own image or video background lives (Pro and Premium only, per Linktree's help), along with themes marked with a lightning bolt.
  • Sell and earn with 0% fees. See the warning below.
  • Mailing list integrations. Send the sign-ups your page collects to an email tool.

From the comparison table, Pro also keeps 365 days of analytics, against 28 days on Free and 90 on Starter, and includes everything in Starter: a personalised Linktree, unlimited featured links, basic analytics and scheduled links.

Pro and Premium start with a 7-day free trial.

#What Pro still does not do

  • No custom domain. Linktree's help center says it does not offer one on any plan. Your page stays at linktr.ee/yourname.
  • Not really 0% fees, per the table. The Pro card says "Sell and earn with 0% fees", but the comparison table on the same page lists 9% on Pro for digital products and courses, and 0% only on Premium. I would trust the table until checkout shows otherwise.
  • No data export. That is Premium.
  • No link rules, social scheduling or unlimited Instagram auto-replies. Also Premium, at $30 a month billed yearly or $35 monthly.
  • The same layout. Pro widens the theme picker, but the page is still a photo, a bio and a column of buttons. More in Linktree themes.

#What the money buys, compared (October 2026)

Linktree figures are from its pricing page; Carrd's from its plan docs, as used in Linktree vs Carrd. In India, Linktree Pro is Rs 440 a month billed yearly or Rs 650 monthly; see Linktree pricing in India.

#When Pro is worth it

  • You want the logo gone and you are staying on Linktree. Pro is the cheapest Linktree plan that removes it. Starter does not.
  • Design matters and a theme colour is not enough. Your own background is the biggest visual change Linktree allows, and it starts on Pro. Sizes are in Linktree background size.
  • You read analytics over months. If you compare this quarter's clicks with last quarter's, 28 or 90 days is not enough.
  • You collect emails through Linktree. The mailing list integrations are on Pro.
  • You need several of these at once. Pro is good value as a bundle and poor value for any one item.

If you sell more than a little, look past Pro. At 9% in the table, Premium's 0% overtakes Pro once your sales pass about $222 a month on monthly billing, and a storefront like Stan may be cheaper still. The maths is in Linktree vs Stan Store.

#When it is not

  • You only want the logo gone. Carrd Pro Lite drops its branding for $9 a year, though that means building a Carrd page.
  • You want your own domain. No Linktree plan has one. Carrd Pro Standard ($19 a year) and Posy Pro ($48 a year) both do.
  • You mostly want a page that looks different. Pro gives you a wallpaper behind the same column of buttons. If the column is the problem, another tool fixes it for less.
  • You check analytics once a month or less. Free's 28 days will do.

#Try before you pay

The 7-day trial is enough to answer the question for yourself:

  1. Start the trial on the plan you are considering.
  2. In the first day, change the things you would pay for: hide the logo, add a background, connect your email tool.
  3. Look at your page on your phone after a few days. If you would not miss the changes, cancel before the trial ends.

#A cheaper route to a page that looks yours

Posy is a link-in-bio page where each look is a drawn scene, and your links become things in it: polaroids on a desk, a woodblock print, a lofi desktop. Free has unlimited links and three looks. Pro is $5 a month or $48 a year and adds your own domain, the other three looks, a year of stats with CSV export, and removes the small "Made with Posy" link. It is open source, so you can also self-host it with every look included.

#Where Posy is not the right pick

  • You sell from the page. Posy has no checkout or email capture. Linktree Pro and Premium do.
  • You want your own photo as the background. Posy's looks are drawn scenes; Linktree Pro lets you upload a wallpaper.
  • You rely on Linktree's integrations. Its marketplace of link apps is far bigger than anything Posy has.

More options are in free Linktree alternatives, and the free plan itself is covered in is Linktree free.
