Posy is a link-in-bio service run by Himanshu Sangshetti. This page explains what we collect when you use it, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we keep what we need to run your page, we don't sell anything, and you can delete everything at any time.

What we collect

• Your account. Your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and nothing else. If you sign up with email, your password is stored only as a secure hash.
• Your page. Everything you put on it: your username, bio, links, notes, photos and other uploads, and your design choices. Your published page is public by design.
• Sign-in sessions. When you log in we store a session with your IP address and browser type, so you stay signed in and we can spot misuse.
• Page analytics. When someone visits a page we count the view and which links they click, the site they came from (just its name, like instagram.com) and their country. We don't store visitors' IP addresses, don't use tracking cookies and don't build profiles of visitors.
• Payments. If you go Pro, our payment provider handles your card details. We only receive your subscription status and a customer reference.

Why we use it

To run your account and show your page, to show you your page's analytics, to handle your subscription, to keep the service secure, and to answer you when you write to us. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who helps us run Posy

We use a few services to host and run Posy. They process data only to provide their service to us:

• Vercel hosts the site and stores uploaded images.
• Turso hosts our database.
• Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for Pro subscriptions and handles payments, invoices and taxes.
• Google provides “Continue with Google” if you choose to use it.

Your data may be processed in countries other than yours, including the United States, by these providers.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. That's it: no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account in Settings at any time; that removes your page, uploads and analytics. Payment records are kept by Dodo Payments as long as the law requires. Backups roll over within 30 days.

You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete it by writing to himanshusangshetty@gmail.com. We'll answer within 30 days.

Children

Posy isn't meant for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change how we handle your data in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and tell you by email before it takes effect.
